I recently had a super mountain bike ride on Stettyn Wine Estate. Part of the ride takes one around their world-class dam experience with all the bird life on the water edge… This type of mountain biking is for those wanting a fairly easy sun-downer sweat… For more mountain biking stories and experiences, you can visit the following link:

Local artist Giesela Hiemstra, her team and wine cellar Badger Berg did the Villiersdorp Tourism Office proud on Saturday evening as they showcased theri art and wine to a wonderful turnout of locals and visistors to our town. The Badger Berg wines went down well with the snacks which Aphrodisiac Shack sponsored and The Tourism thanks Sean and his team.
A lovely exhibition of Giesela’s work will be on exhibit in the Tourism Office (Open daily) for the next week, and feel free to pop in and support the local art scene. We look forward to seeing you there….
Follow the story and pictures of Mel Elliott as he cycles the ‘canal pad’ of Villiersdorp and takes measure of the beautiful birdlife in our valley. For birding enthusiasts- See Mels ‘Canal Pad’ birding list.
